Freight and Salvage, Berkeley, CA
Doors open 8am
As a leader in the environmental movement for 38 years, the Northern California Recycling Association (NCRA) is holding its 21st Annual Recycling Update during Zero Waste Week. This daylong event will feature nearly 30 speakers who are industry experts on the big Rs: Recycling, Reuse, Reduce, and Rot.
Food Shift’s Founder & Director Dana Frasz will be speaking about strategies for reducing food waste in Santa Clara County. She will share findings from the Santa Clara Report, provide an update on Santa Clara’s progress and go into detail about Food Shift’s current project: The Alameda Kitchen.
Check out what Dana had to say at Recycling Update two years ago. It is pretty amazing to see how far we have come!
Join in on the conversation, network with people in the field, enjoy a zero waste meal, and be inspired. To learn more about the event visit the NCRA website. Register for the event here, and view the speaker list here.
