Terrell Brunet has been an executive chef, a culinary instructor, a general manager, and a mentor for new ownership developing restaurants. He has a passion for traditional American culinary culture and for educating others. Born and raised in Louisiana, food culture has been an integral part of Chef T’s life. Cooking at his grandma’s side and working as a line cook in the French Quarter informed his early culinary focus. His exposure to cities like New York, New Orleans, and San Francisco, world renowned institutions like Culinary Institute of America and Antoine’s Restaurant has led him to experiencing the diversity of the culinary world and the people involved in them. He remains passionate about Americana and French culinary techniques, though he now cooks with a fresh, California perspective. He is most content when prepping a dinner for friends, or teaching someone how to use a knife properly.
