Food Shift’s Founder and Director Dana Frasz is speaking at the 36th Annual EcoFarms conference today on January 22, 2016 in Soquel, CA. She will discuss the shift in the food recovery model from a charity to a service and the launch of the Alameda Kitchen to provide local jobs in the processing of surplus foods.
The Ecological Farming Association is a non-profit educational organization working to develop an ecologically sustainable and just food and farming system. EcoFarm works by bringing together people, communities and organizations to engage in conversations about where our food comes from and the impact of industrial agriculture on our environment and in our communities.
