This action oriented conference will bring together entrepreneurs and policy makers to highlight innovative solutions from across the nation to tackle the top two tiers of EPA’s Food Recovery Hierarchy of Source Reduction –reducing the volume of surplus food generated & Feeding Hungry People –such as donating extra food to food banks, soup kitchens and shelters.
Several of Food Shift’s advisors and allies including Dana Gunders from the NRDC, Gary Oppenheimer from AmpleHarvest.org, Tristam Stuart from Feedback, Ben Chesler from Imperfect Foods, Jordan Figueiredo from the @UglyFruitAndVeg Campaign, and Adam Rein from ReFED, will be at the event talking about what’s next and how we can take this movement to new levels in the year ahead!
