Fire Relief Benefit Dinner: Join Us!

Join us on December 4th for a night of food, drinks, and community. Food Shift is hosting an all-inclusive benefit dinner with drinks and conversation at C’era Una Volta on December 4th from 6-9pm to support North Bay fire relief efforts.

By engaging North Bay organizations who have been heavily involved in the relief efforts, we’ll learn about the rebuilding process, explore how community responds to disaster in a way that reflects social justice and equity, and hear how vulnerable populations are engaging in this critical conversation.

All proceeds will be donated to Ceres Community Project and Undocufund, who are working to directly support victims of the fires.

Ceres volunteers busy prepping hundreds of nutritious sandwiches for families and first responders.

Ceres aims to create health for people, communities and the planet through love, healing food and empowering the next generation. They are on the ground, directly supporting fire victims in whatever ways necessary. They have been prepping meals for first responders and families in need, and are currently producing 400-500 meals a day on top of their normal operations. They are serving as a coordination hub for food to at least four and now possibly up to 6 shelters in the West County area.   Ceres knows that food heals, and they are committed to being part of the healing for these families.

Undocufund is an organization that was created in direct response to the Sonoma County Fires. They are providing aid specifically to help the unique needs of undocumented immigrants and their families who have been affected by the fires. Unlike other victims of the fires, undocumented immigrants are not eligible for FEMA assistance and those who are face barriers such as lack of immigration status, english proficiency, and fear of immigration enforcement. Undocufund is working to ensure that these families have the resources they need to recovery, rebuild, and thrive.

A buffet style dinner will be provided by The Food Shift Kitchen, made from recovered produce that would have otherwise been wasted due to cosmetic imperfections.

A wonderful selection of drinks will be provided by Donkey and Goat Winery, St. George Spirits, Shanty Shack Brewing, and Heart & Honey.

Live acoustic music will be performed by Brooker D and the Mellow Fellows!

EARLY BIRD PRICE: $30 (Until Nov. 15th)
